Water Service Delivery
The Ministry recognizes the significance of enhancing the services it provides to improve the efficiency of electricity production, create a conducive environment for investment, and diversify energy sources. This aligns with the esteemed vision of the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may he rest in peace, which calls for securing 15% of electricity demand through renewable energy by the year 2030. Furthermore, it supports the objectives outlined in the 2030 strategy of the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, which aims to achieve 30% of electricity demand from renewable sources.

In accordance with the aspirations of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may he be protected, the Ministry is committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2060 and is dedicated to collaborating with the United Nations on environmental projects. Additionally, His Highness the Amir’s representative, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may he also be safeguarded, has emphasized Kuwait's goal to reach 50% of total electricity generation from renewable energy by 2050.

 

Consequently, the Ministry is determined to fulfill its role in balancing economic growth with environmental sustainability while meeting the electricity demands of the State of Kuwait through the diversification of energy sources via renewable energy.

The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy provides investors with the ability to monitor the status of their submitted applications through an electronic platform. Any critical comments or updates will be communicated to investors via text messages and email. These remarks may be appended to the transaction for clarity. Investors are encouraged to respond to these comments and may contact the Ministry directly to supply any required supplementary information or documentation. Furthermore, they can track their payments, credits, and receive the latest updates related to their transaction. The system also allows investors to identify the employee responsible for handling their transaction across various departments within the Ministry.
